Other signs include sudden changes in eating habits, long lasting sadness, and lost of interest. The effects of physical bullying may be more obvious at first, verbal bullying is more insidious and over long periods of time works to destroy a child's self image ad self-esteem. this can lead to depression, anxiety and other problems.
In extreme cases, several well noted instances of teen suicide have been linked to prolonged verbal bullying of a classmate or peer. Verbal bullying should not be treated as kids simply being kids and should dealt with seriously by parents, teachers and school administrators. Depression is more common in bullies or bully victims that i teens or children who have not been victimized. We should all keep an eye out for signs of depression in children and teenagers.
Anyone who dealing with or showing signs of depression should talk to counselor or a trustworthy adult to help them. "Gender equality means that the different behaviour, aspirations and needs of women and men are considered, valued and favoured equally. ... If you believe in gender equality, you are a feminist. Feminism by definition is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities
While access to good quality education is important for girls and women, preventing gender-based violence and equality through education clearly also remains a priority. Gender-based discrimination in education is, in effect, both a cause and a consequence of deep-rooted differences in society.
Gender discrimination victims often experience harassment which can lead to increased depression and anxiety. Such effects do not only affect the victim of harassment, but it also extends to other members of the organization."
